Research On The Establishment Of Chinese Contemporary College Students' Honor Concept

Honor concept belongs to domain of the life value. The establishment of the correct honor concept plays an important role in the active achievement of college students' personal value and social value. With the advancement of economic globalization, the increasing diversification and conflict of culture and values brought by western culture and the large influx of its values have a noticeable impact on the construction of chinese contemporary college students' honor concept.Bad phenomenon such as ambiguous ideals and beliefs, weakened moral concept, lacking of credit consciousness, declining social responsibility as well as the decadent,self-complacent and indiscriminate thoughts have occurred in different degree among contemporary college students.Therefore,the construction study of the contemporary college students' honor concept has become an important topic in higher education research.This paper, to study the construction of Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept,begins with the basic definitions such as the honor,the concept honor,the concept honor construction and so on, and then scientifically analyzes the internal relationship among the honor concept, outlook on life,values,and dignity concept; and then actively clarifies the manifestations and the problems of the contemporary college students' honor concept, and explores the challenges of its construction; and finally puts forward some new thinking on the problems faced by the construction based on the theoretical foundation, basic principles, and implementation of means, so as to provide effective guidance for the construction of Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept.The focus of this paper is concentrated the new thinking on the construction of Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept in the third part. The background of Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept is complicatized,the thought is single-oriented,the mechanism is monotonous,and the content is doctrinal. According to the present situation mentioned above,this paper, following both the guildance of Marxist Human Study and the principles of the human-oriention, independent personality,that is the free-individuality,the historicity and the idealitat,etc, explores the effective way for the construction of Chinese contemporary college students'honor concept from four aspects:(1) the identification degree on socialism core value system and collectivism value should be strengthened via the propaganda and the inculcation of social mainstream value, and the long-run effective mechanism should be established, combined with establishment of evaluation and incentive mechanism and the full play to the leading model role,etc.,so as to enhance the effective results of the socialism core value system and collectivism value education.(2) The educational system reform aiming at "Sticking to Human-Oriention and Paying Attention to Personality" should be promoted to achieve the organic unity of externalization and internalization of contemporary college students' honor and dignity.(3)the applications of high technology—the Internet, mobile SMS and other products,should be energetically popularized, and the integrated culture construction of community, school and family should be reinforced advancing with the times, and contemporary college students' humanistic quality should be improved,and both content and the vector of the honor concept should be further expanded.(4) Measures for a combination of quantified assessment of regulations and stimulation for internal motivation should be taken so that contemporary college students may participate in various social activities heteronomously or unconsciously,especially in the youth volunteer activities, for the achievement of construction of contemporary college students'honor concept in the combination of the two factors of cognitions and behavior.This paper consists of three parts:Part I:Honor concept and related definitions. The scientific connotation of the honor concept is the basis of this study, and it is related to other parts of this paper. This part mainly provides definitions of honor, honor concept and honor concept construction, as well as the inherent relationship among the honor concept, outlook on life,values,and dignity concept. PartⅡ:The present situation and the problems with the Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept. This part paves the road to explore the implementation of means of contemporary college students' honor concept.According to the survey, although the mainstream of contemporary college students'honor concept is in good condition, there still exists some problems such as confused political beliefs, distorted values, the lack of social responsibility, receding national traditional spirit, a weaker credit consciousness.There are three reasons can be listed as follows.Firstly, the ignorance of the conceptual understanding;secondly,the severity of the the utilitarian tendency;thirdly,the opposition and conflict in honor concept and dignity concept.Of course, it is the very existence of problems with college students' honor concept that leads to the following practical problems in its construction:complicated background, single-oriented thought, monotonous mechanism, doctrinal content and so on,which develop new topics on the further construction study of honor concept.Part III:New thinking on the construction of Chinese contemporary college students' honor concept. Logically,this part is the the final destination of this paper,also it is the focus.This part primarily consists of the theoretical foundation, basic principles, and implementation of means of contemporary college students' honor concept. Under the guidance of a unified theoretical basis of the individual and society, self-identity and social recognition,honor and dignity,this paper, following the principles of the human-oriention, independent personality,that is the free-individuality,the historicity and the idealitat,etc.,explores the effective achieving methods from the mechanism construction, educational reform, vector application, and implementation means.
