Transformative experiences have been defined as those experiences in which students actively use science concepts to see and experience their everyday world in meaningful, new ways. The dynamical equilibrium thoughts in Le Chatelier's principle which can well represent the scientific ideas are important contents in high school chemistry curriculum. It is also a universal law. So this study works on the Transformative Experience based on the Dynamical Equilibrium Thoughts in order to find out whether student could have transformative experiences after learning the knowledge.Firstly, the paper discusses what extent of transformative experience the current high school students could experience after they learned the Le Chatelier's principle. The result shows that school experiences of most students are separated with their everyday experiences. And the knowledge they learned can't bring profound impacts to their daily life, which means our education is not able to influence students'life significantly.Secondly, we try to find will transformative experience help students to improve learning, the result shows the experiences can help students understand concepts and develop their capability of using learning in the context of life better. Therefore, educators should pay more attention to improve the extents of transformative experience which student should have. Finally, we construct a teaching model aiming at promoting transformative experience. We expect this model could help teachers to guide students to experience the transformative experiences.
