The Study Of The Status Of Environmental Consciousness In Young Children Aged 3-6

Preschool period is an important period to cultivate the right consciousness and behavior of things, and preschool children have abilities to protect environment around their life. On the other hand, environmental protection has cought a widely public concern recently along with the daily exacerbetion of the environment and the upgrade of people's request about life quality. Environmental protection is a long and hard career, which indicates everyone's effort, including young children who are unable to take care of themselves, because it is very important and necessary for the whole environmental career to shape right environmental consciousness and behavior. Thus this paper attempts to present the advantage and disadvantage of young children's environmental consciousness who are aged 3 to 6 years old. It's to provide effective means for kindergarteners and parents to develop the environmental teaching.Partâ… is the introduction which is presented the background and significance, defined basic concepts and sorted out the relevant references.Partâ…¡is the research design which includes the purpose, objects, contents, approach, and how to disposal data and the reliability and validity of the research.Partâ…¢is the result of the study which is presented the situation of young children's environmental consciousness through three aspects that are emotion and attitude, knowledge and experience, and ideas and judgment. This paper analyzes the overall features, age features and sex difference of all the environmental issues.Partâ…£is the discussion and reflection of this paper. There are four conclusions:1) there is a good feeling base of young children to protect environment; 2) the knowledge and experience about environment is too limited for young children; 3) children's environmental consciousness seems hidebound;4)children are with a bad attitude about environment. On this basis, researcher analyzes the reasons and gives some corresponding advices.At last, writer reflects the whole research and find out that:as a new view, there is still much space to improve.
