The Global Chinese Student Union And The Study-abroad Education In China's Modern Times

The Study-abroad Education as a kind of main approach and a form in education exchange has been always paid attention to. The Global Chinese Student Union was a local and non-governmental education group which mainly handled the Chinese students studying abroad in modern times, and experienced transition stage from feudalism monarchy to the republic.It had been existing for thirty-to-forty years until the Anti-Japanese War outburst. In the Republican period, it did a large amount of job in the education of studying abroad to promote the development of studying abroad motion forcefully, especially had dense relationship with studying in France. Then we are going to explain the operation significance, at present the study-abroad education institutions must learn from the history experience of the Global Chinese Student Union and think of their insufficiency.
