With the gradual enhancement of the teaching professional level that the community requires on teachers, professional development of the novice teachers has become an important task of the teaching professional development. At present there are many studies focused on how to improve the professional ability of novice teachers, among which the novice-experts comparative studies is an important method. Previous research results had some positive impacts on the novice teacher professional development. The Physics concept teaching is one of the important parts and the most fundamental teaching content in high school Physics teaching. The Physics concept teaching of the novice teachers in their daily work is worrying. Through the research on the Physics concept teaching of novice and expert teachers, the author has found the different aspects between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in Physics concept teaching, and this can improve the Physics concept teaching of novice teachers on target.The author has adopted the class observation method and the questionnaire method to make a comparative research of the two type teachers on the understanding of the Physics concept teaching and the steps of the Physics concept teaching and the behaviors in Physics concept teaching---questioning, explaining, guiding, practice, demonstration experiment, evaluation and feedback.Through the comparative study, the author has found the deficiencies of the novice teachers in Physics concept teaching. They are as follows:1. The lack of the understanding on students; 2.Unclarity of the concepts they teach; 3.Inappropriate application of teaching methods; 4.The lack of experimental ability; 5. Not enough to practice the use of behavior guidance; 6.Unclarity of the role of questioning and how to question; 7.Not enough to apply the evaluation and feedback. The main reasons of these deficiencies are:1.The lack of the ability to apply theory to practice, including unclarity on features and laws of cognitive psychology of their students, and unclear understanding on all aspects of Physics concept teaching; 2.The lack of professional knowledge of novice teachers, which is shown on the unclarity of the main components and core concepts and the key and difficult knowledge in their teaching work.In response to these differences and causes, the author proposes several recommendations to reduce the differences between novice teachers and other type teachers:1.Strengthen the continuing education and training of novice teachers; 2.Strengthen the cooperative study in daily work; 3.Change the way of evaluating on the novice teachers.
