With the globalization of culture, it makes epoch sense to strengthen the inheritance of traditional culture and carry it forward. It not only helps improve self-confidence and self-pride of every Chinese, but also develop cohesion of the whole nation.Under the influence of various factors, the adolescents in China show different attitude toward recognization of national culture. For example, their attribution consciousness for the nation is no longer as strong as Chinese used to be.Such as affection for the country,consciousness for the nation as well as cohesion of the whole nation.As shown in the paper, it is the first time for the author to link dragon dancing with the identity of national culture, hoping to play an introductive role in construction of traditional culture of the nation. At the beginning of the survey, the author referred a great many of relevant literature material and books about dragon dancing, identity of culture and statistics on sports. Then in the process of designing the questionnaire, the author consult with experts in every related field such as the folk staff, sports psychology, anthropology research and so on. At the same time,the author takes a deep insight into the independence and correlation among each dimension of the questionnaires based on inspecting reliability and validity of the questionnaires. Under such effort, the first draft of questionnaires comes into being. The author did the pre-survey at Fenghua High school in Zhejiang province. Then modify the items on questionnaires recycled and finally detemine the formal ones for the study. In order to ensure that the survey results have certain universality, the author selects representative samples in 6 colleges and 3 middle schools. Then release and recycle the questionnaires among such samples. After that process the data of questionnaires recycled with software SPSS16.0. Finally sort the data obtained and analysis so as to make it clear whether dragon dancing can promote identity toward national culture among the adolescents. If it shows the positive effect, then we should enlarge the scale of such activity. Especially promote it extensively in middle schools,colleges and universities. Conclusions:First, dragon dancing do play an important role on cultural identity among the adolescents.secondly, dragon dancing produce cultural identity difference influences among the adolescents in the suburb,the countryside or the city.The third, with the development of dragon dancing, we get to know the very importance of traditional culture on the adolescents. However, under current education system, most schools do not pay sufficient attention on promoting traditional culture of our nation, which, in turn, cannot perform the educational function as it should have fulfilled. Therefore, it is unnecessary to be surprised to see the differences among cultural identity in the survey.
