Background and purposeTeachers in our country were at high risk on getting job burnout, and teacher of rural junior-schools are different from those of cities. In order to stabilize teacher's troops, improving quality of teaching and enhancing the heath of student, this research carried on one's psychological and behavioral characteristic called time management- a factor of individual time values and time using mode, so as to find the relationship between time management and job burnout of teachers in rural junior-school, also to find influence from time management to job burnout. Above all, the result can provide basis of keeping teachers of rural junior-schools away from job burnout in theory.Method162 teachers in rural junior-schools of Lang zhong, Sichuan Province were assessed with Educated Burnout Inventory (EBI) and Time Management Inventory. Correlation analysis, multiple stepwise regression analysis were applied.Conclusion(1) The general state of job burnout was at a certain level mainly shows emotional exhaustion. Time management got a little disorganization. There were statistic significance of job burnout between high-low time management levels.(2) Differences of emotional exhaustion at significant level were found between married and unmarried teachers. And depersonalization of unmarried teacher was significantly higher than those unmarried. Teachers who on duty felt more emotional exhaustion. Teachers of age 35~45 were faced with the worst level of job burnout than teachers of age 26~35 and age below 25. Teachers who graduated from technical secondary school got more scores of prioritizing than teachers graduated from junior-college and teachers achieved bachelor degree. Teachers of age up 46 also got more scores of prioritizing than teachers of age 26~35, and difference is significant.(3) Each dimensionality of job burnout with teachers in rural junior-school negatively correlated with their prioritizing. Making list negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment. Perceived control of time negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion and reduced personal accomplishment. Disorganization positively correlated with each dimensionality of job burnout.(4) Time management level of teachers in rural junior-school can predict each dimensionality of job burnout availably. Incremental quantity of explanatory variable was at significant level.(5) Disorganization and perceived control of time influenced emotional exhaustion significantly. Making list influenced reduced personal accomplishment significantly. Making list and disorganization can predict depersonalization availably. According to the result, this research showed job burnout were influenced by the joint work of making list, perceived control of time and disorganization.
