Although most of the contemporary college students have good conditions of material life and learning environment, some of them showed negative and pessimistic mood, not feeling the existence of happiness. There are various reasons for the formation of this phenomenon. First, as China's opening policy implementation, western countries through various forms propaganda western pragmatism and utilitarianism idea. The cultural infiltration includes cultural exchange, cultural products output etc. Some students were affected and paid more and more attention to their own state and realistic interests urgently. Based on the above reasons, contemporary college students' understanding to happiness exists the misconception: money worship tendency, hedonism tendency, individualism and pragmatism tendency. Contemporary college students represent the mainstream and the direction in young adults as the outstanding group and they are the country's future, the hope of the nation. Therefore, we should take the contemporary college students' happiness concept education as an important content in ideological and political education work, and guide them to establish Marxist happiness concept, which has the vital significance whether for their own development or social harmony progress.It needs multilateral participation and efforts to set up Marxist happiness concept for contemporary college students. From the school, the school should strengthen Marxist happiness concept education, explored human happiness concept education method and carry out the practice to experience happiness in the progress of ideological and political education for college students.
