With the rapid development of education sicence and achievements in teachers'professional development become increasingly abundant nowadays, the professional development of teachers in primary and middle schools need theoretical support and direction from education theory professors in univesities urgently. Professors participate in action directly can provide the latest and the forefront of professional development theoretical in eduction to teachers in primary and middle schools. It has made teachers in primary and middle schools obtain the most effective professional development. Meanwhile, it means the education knowledge products of professors in universities can be realized largely and mostly, which maximize their theories production efficiency;More importantly, it can find the most realistic and broad demand market for university teachers'education theories, providing the production power and the original material; It also can test the scientific of education research more directly, providing opportunities and reference for it to correct and deep timely. The professors in universities participating in action in PDS model has carried on useful discussion in this respect, which be worth for us to study and reference.In this thesis, the background of the action on participation, characters, manner of participation and practicing of PDS are studied. The essay makes a profound analysis of theory of professors'participation in PDS with the basic educational theory and social ecology angle in the view of the professional development. It analyzes the original research product with the documental investigating approach. Meanwhile, assitsting with the comparison approach and historical approach to divide the period of PDS. The essay made an effort to reflect the particitation of professors in the PDS. It comments the characteristics and achievement, expecting to make some experience and suggestions for our nation's teacher cooperation between primary and middle schools and universities.
