Because The teacher professional development is not enough be regarded in elementary school, educational action research acts as the important way to improve their researching idea and ability of the teacher professional development, we should think much high of it. This paper tries to talk about this problem.The first part explains the basic ideas of teacher professional development. I draw a conclusion of the way to the teacher professional development after narrating the background .implication and the research result. And then explain connection of the educational action research and teacher professional development. Educational action research is a good way to improve teacher professional development , especially to the teachers' own development. Nowadays, teacher professional development call educational action research.The second part aims to narrate the characteristics and function of educational action research.
