The readers market of workplace books has a great influence with the economic situation, workplace environment, employment population changes, so it has great times and uncertainty. In recent years, with the influence of such factors as the economy, employment population, readers market of workplace books presents new features. Firstly, economic crisis attracted employment pressure increases, making the on-the-job personnel and related personnel's demand of the workplace books increased; Secondly, the amount of workplace books readers market has been increasing year by year; Thirdly, workplace books readers market structure changes, such as the continuously improving of the overall culture, gender proportion tending to balance, by 2010, the proportion of on-the-job women reaches to 46.3%; Fourthly, workplace readers' demand diversify; Etc. These new features'appearance will affect the development of workplace books.This paper is on the basis of a serious study and review of the reader market's basic development rules. It also refers some theories of the quantitative research. We designed the questionnaire about the reader market of china in recent years. Using the software tool kit of SPSS to conducted a questionnaire survey, we seriously analyzed the result of the survey, and drew some basic rules of the workplace books reader market, such as, workplace books are selling well, but the reader have no true minds for them; collective readers for workplace books are in great demand, different units'demand are in different classifications.On the basis of investigation and analysis of the results, this paper also put forward several thinking on workplace book's development: workplace books need to fill the subdivision gap in content; Attention should be paid to the general problems of the readers; subdividing the market demand, accurate the positioning; To fully utilize the network media; accurate pricing according to the target readers; Etc.
