MASTERS THESIS Abstract 揚roblem solving?is a slogan which is put forward by the US Teachers? Association is the fourth International Mathematics Education Conference. Strong reverberation has been evoked through out the world. From then on ,many people began to study in this field at home and abroad .However due to different state of a country each lays different emphasis on it under the proposal of many famous mathematicians educators on mathematics and people who are enthusiastic in education ,our country set to the study from the end of 1980s and the beginning of 1990s ,Such study has played an active role in the maths teaching of our country, Generally speaking ,the study is only at the first stage whit the practical experience in maths teaching ,the present writer made an exploration of the theory and teaching of problem solving. 揚roblem solving 搃s an object of study for many disciplines, such as psychology ,education ,mathematics ,etc. They make the research in different aspects with different tasks .This paper focus on the theory of 損roblem solving 揵ased on previous research The writer re-study the definition the connotation and the characteristics of 損roblem solving ?Moreover ,the paper brings forth the new four steps logic mode for second feedback, and makes complement adjustment adaptation and for the present 損roblem solving 搒trategies ,ln the writer抯 opinion there are ten basic strategies; simplification of the difficulties, avail abilities of methods combination of figures and pictures of the fresh back of the complex converse of logic ,exchange of dynamic and static ways division and combining ,the use of parameters and aesthetics used for truth enumeration. In this paper we study the ability consisted of the problem of mathematics itself and the problem of mathematics application. To sum up there are six abilities of problem solving ; the ability of expressing ,of figuration of adaptation of drawing up plans of applying mathematics to calculation and proving ,together with checking and evaluating of the results we size the factors of affecting problem solving and its action on cultivating students?problem solving ability which is based on problem抯 situation factor students individual character and recognition tactics. All theory must be combined with practice, other wise it is meaning less The write sum up six methods on cultivating students?problem solving ability based on years of teaching experience .They are as follows :to devise a situation on the ii #; ~ ~梸?MASTER S THESIS problem ,to choose problem variation to develop special subject of though activities to carry out various games to combine the importance of non figure model ? Through the research of problem solving ,our aim is to explore methods of carrying out it in high school classroom teaching and to cultivate students? competence of, generating . Thus it will help to cultivate students?mathematics realization and qualification .As to our educational system ,it will contribute to the transformation of 揔now ledge -imparting 搈ode to the 搒tudent-centered?mode.
