(Abstract) This paper roughly analyzes development and wide use of computer梒entered network, with the purpose of probing into high school students?personality healthiness in network age. I try to formulate an optimized personality hea]thiness system for high school students by means of combining theory with practice and utilizing my years of work experience in a high school. I believe computer network i.s a double梕dged sword to students? personality. On one hand it greatly helps shape such healthy personality traits like self梔etermination, creativeness and competitiveness. On the other hand, it exposes the students to western ideology and thus increases the chances of their suffering from network related mental impediment in personality and committing hi梩ech crimes. It also poses many difficulties to the shaping of their healthy personality, e. g., network morality deviation, network mental impediment and cyber crimes. So tile educators should be fully aware of the existence of network and its influence. Tile society, schools and families should intervene with effective educative strategies. And the youngsters themselves need to have a keener judgment in the sea of information and keep away from 搉etwork traps? Only with these combined efforts can computer network?s negative influence on school students?personality be relieved and their healthy personality be shaped.
