Design And Implementation Of A Cooperative Multimedia Courseware Editing And Assembling System Based On XML

In this dissertation,the author implement a cooperative editing and assembly system of courseware, named CoCourseware, based on the theory of CSCW for the requirement of making courseware collaboratively in modern distance education. Firstly,the author introduces the theroy of CSCW. Secondly, the author innovatively uses the XML to describe the data model and uses DOM as the storage schema of courseware. Whereafter ,the author establishes the system's cooperative work model and describes the system's framework. At the end of this dissertation the author presents the technologies in the system's implementation at length. A platform of network communications about mutimedia information and interfaces of the XML document processing are realized. Following the XML criterions, a interactive protocal on TCP/IP is built. Also,a management model of the users' power is put forward and implemented.What's more, a concurrency control algorithm based on node version is put forward and improved . Finally,The author realize the showing and issuance of courseware using XSLT.
