Based On The Production And Application Of Streaming Media Courseware For Self-learning Strategies

Teaching with stream-media coursewares, which are transmitted through the satellite multimedia wideband network, a new type of distance learning at present. Teachers and students need not gather at the same physical place at the same time, so more attention should be paid to the use of independent study strategies during the design of streaming-media courseware, by doing this, we can give a full exertion of students' initiative and positivity, and embody the students' function as a cognitive main body.Aiming at this, this dissertation is established in the research on the streaming-media courseware of Peking University authorized firstly to develop distance education in the satellite multimedia wideband network. First, by using of "literature investigation" and "web-based investigation", this research acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the application system of the distance education of Peking University and the teaching with it. And then according as the theoretic analysis of the relationship between cybernetics, individualized teaching, ID theory, etc, and independent study strategies, next, it expatiated on the importance of "learning objectives, objective evaluation, learning control" in the corporation of streaming-media courseware and independent learning strategies. At the same time, with the method of content analysis, pointed out the deficiencies of streaming-media courseware of Peking University in using independent learning strategies.Based on all the above analysis and researches, this dissertation designed three modules (learning objective, evaluation of objective, learning control) in streaming-media courseware, and carried out a comparative experimental teaching research. Using the methods of mono/double/multi-factors sequential scale, T test, etc, researched the application situation and effect of the streaming-media courseware based on independent learning strategy.
