As an effective combination of computer network techniques and experiment teaching system, the network-based remote real-time experiment teaching system has broken through the restriction of time and location. Making full use of human resources and material resources, it is a new stage of remote experiment teaching system. Based on modern manufacturing systems, several key techniques in the network-based remote real-time experiment teaching system have been studied and a network-based remote real-time control PLC pneumatic desk prototyping system has been developed.This paper, from the point of view of the whole system at first, analyzes the basic requirements in network environments. And then gives a general architecture of this system. When studying the control technologies and monitor technologies of this system, different requirements and architectures are discussed respectively and at the same time the realization methods are also given. According to the requirements of remote education, the basic principle of database access and network structure is provided. After giving the demands and realization methods of the system security, this paper come up with a network platform for such an experiment system.Based on the theory analysis above, a network-based remote real-time experiment teaching system is developed, including its general architecture, its main features and characteristics. Exampled with PLC pneumatic desk, two kinds of achievement methods are given, that is remote real-time experiment teaching system based on PcAnyWhere and remote real-time control simulation reveal based on DE-311. Later the achievement examples are also presented.At last, a summary of the thesis is given and some suggestions for further study of this system are provided.
