Chinese traditional education is facing big challenge when it affronts advanced foreign education ideas. So, revolution of education is inevitable for the sake of the future of our nation. The revolution of course is an important step, and the renew of course book is the one of the presentation.Taiwan has the same culture background with China inland, though the effects on them are different after the foundation of China, the ideas of course are also different.This paper analyses the difference of main course in Taiwan and China inland. China inland takes the new level, high school chemistry book, Taiwan takes book published by Longteng company mainly. This paper has six parts, the first focuses on the effects of science, students, and society, on book; the second focuses on the difference of book structure, content of knowledge, so it is the most important part; the third focuses on the difference of the book arrangement of experiment; the fourth focuses on the content of exercises and the rules of exercises choosing; the fifth focuses on the difference of the form of book; the sixth focuses on the author's experience of writing this paper.The effects of students, society, experts on the arrangement are the same. The scientific system of course should consider the philosophy of education, the theory of learning, and the restrict of education aim precociously, and then find the balance point of subject center, children center and society center.Undoubtedly, the experts of the whole country have thought of the problems, but the difference is still evident. I think the grasping of important points and the education idea counts, except for the area difference. This paper could not find out the outer difference and inner difference, it only presents the difference of the books found during the exchange. We can get something through the comparing.
