The introduction and publicization of the new curriculum criteria nationwide, a necessity in elementary education reformation, are sure to stimulate profound changes in textbooks, educational concepts, teaching concepts, leaning style and evaluation approaches. The change that ancient poems account pretty large percentage in the textbooks suggests that people share stronger awareness that it is vital to maintain national spirits and styles in today's globalized world. This paper draws features from students cognitive levels and mental development and summarizes different methods such us loud reading, imagination and appreciation to improve students' humanistic quality and comprehensive ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Thus we can achieve the integration of instrumentalism and humanism in Chinese course and cultivate a new future-oriented generation who can inherit the elite in traditional culture with innovative spirits.
