This paper will discuss some theoretical and practical problems related to CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) to make it clear that CAI has many positive effects on math-teaching in middle school, but there are also many problems worth discussing in it' s application, and try to research that how to combine CAI and math-teaching reality under the precondition of following the teaching rules, attaching the students' physiological and psychological rules, attaching enough importance to the need of teaching contents. The passage will also make a thorough and objective analysis on some problems that exist in using CAI, and suggest the feasible methods to solve them. Through the author' s experiments in math-teaching, it will be especially shown that we should choose to use CAI or rational teaching method on basis of teaching rules and realities, in stead of simply taking one to replace the other. In addition to these, the passage will analyze and describe the tendency of CAI, and introduce the two new fields of CAI network system: long-distance teaching and "e-learning" .There're many approaches will be applied to write the passage, such as : colligating and analyzing, referring to documents, generalizing, giving examples, enumerating figures and etc.
