Second language acquisition is realized in the course of interaction. As early as the 1960s, Bruner and Rogers emphasized the importance of interaction in their research. Henceforth, Vygotsky, Krashen and Rod Ellis advanced their theories on the interrelationship between interaction and second language acquisition and classroom interaction is one of the most influential factors to the second language acquisition, as well as the social interaction theory emphasized the interrelationship of the environment, teachers and their learners, which used as the basis foundation of the research.At present, the existed problem among the Chinese students is that teacher is still dominant in the classroom, while most of the students communicate in English with anxiety, who are only skilled in the examination. To change the present situation, students need to strengthen the classroom interaction to spur the second language acquisition. In the view of this situation, the problem that what the primary causes are and how classroom interaction influence the second language acquisition should be solved immediately.The research is interpreted by psychological,linguistic and cognitive theories. With the aid of a comparative experiment, the researcher made a random sampling and chose the two parallel classes in No. 9 Senior Middle School located in Anshan City Liaoning Province. According to the subjects' test scores in the three experimental English level tests and with utilizing t tests in the statistics theory, p<0.01 is obtained. So at the marked level of 0.01, compared with the critical value in the t-list, the outstanding influence of interaction to second language acquisition is testified.A questionnaire is responded in the experiment. According to the collected subjects' responses to the questionnaire and observation, the influential factors of the classroom interaction to the second language acquisition are that the psychological factors of the learners in English communication, the context and environment in English classroom and teacher's roles in second language acquisition.In the one-year experiment, the standard deviation and means of the experimental class and control class emerged different tendencies: the standard deviation of the experimental class was decreased and the means were increased while the standard deviation of the control class was increased and the means were almost no changes distinctively. The phenomenon indicates the integrant English level of the learners increased and the range of the learners distinction in their English level narrowed. By observed the situation of the subjects and analyzed measurement of the collected data between the experimental class and control class in the experiment. The efficient means of the promotion of the classroom interaction are suggested: Strengthen student-student interaction pattern by using the grouping interaction and strengthen the student-teacher interaction pattern by creating language environment, making English as the only language in classroom, offering the opportunities for the students to communicate, paying more attention to the individualdifferences, encouraging and relaxing the learners and constructing the multimedia-assisted atmosphere appropriately.The research is expected to make advantage to the English teaching of Anshan City, and raise a practical suggestion to the teaching work in future in this field.
