On The Image Construction Of Chinese Universities

In the contemporary time, as the knowledge and talent becoming the power to accelerate the development of society and economy, with the deepening of higher education reform, the function of university is more and more important and obvious in the modern society. The new situation puts forward new demand to the image construction of university, the era brings new opportunity and challenge to the university development. According to the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development and the view of scientific development which were put forward by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the dissertation researches into the definition, components and characteristics of the university's image, additionally confirms the important significance of constructing the university's image at the base of analyzing the essence of university's image by using the science of ideological and political education, the science of public relation, psychology and other sciences. As a further expansion, the dissertation discusses the fundamental elements and principles at the period of constructing the university image, analyses the existing problems, puts forth effort to describe the university image's constructors and the constructors' image, especially emphasizes the function of constructors. Finally, in terms of macroscopic and microcosmic respectively, the dissertation puts forward concrete countermeasures to the university image construction from six aspects .The dissertation would contribute to promoting the development of theoretical research on the university's image and strengthening the university image construction of our country.
