The research finds that, in the matches of the European Cup, the American Cup and the Asian Cup of 2004, under the background of different score, the closer the scores are , the more fouls would be, and the leading team made more fouls; in the three continent cup matches, fouls in the last fifteen minutes of the first and second half were the most and the last fifteen minutes in the second half was also the phase which referees produced the most amount of red and yellow cards; In these three matches, the fouls with legs were more than with arms and body, and Asian players' fouls with legs were the most, while American players had the most arms' foulsand European players' fouls with body were the most; the most fouls' position in the playing area of the matches is midfleld, but the amount of fouls in the attacking third in the European Cup matches is more than in the defensive third, furthermore, midfleld was also the field which referees produced the most red and yellow cards, the second was the defensive third, the attacking third is the least, and soccer players got the amount of yellow cards because of destroying attack opportunity was about one-third of the total in the matches, All of these have approved that it is one of important tactics to destroy the opponent' attacking opportunity by fouls.
