The moral education of young people has always been the top concern of the whole world. But due to different culture backgrounds, social systems and values, there lies a great divergence in either theory or practice of moral education in different countries. Australia focuses mainly on value education of young people and has gathered a lot of advanced theories and experiences that are worth learning .The author, through analysis and comparison, sharply pointed out the problems existing in our country, such as the inamplification of law systems, the lacking of integrity, the insufficiency of young people protection, the lack of targets and correct values for the young people as well as the formularizing and generalizing of school education. Be aware of this, the author suggests that China, as well as Australia, need to treat the morel education as a social systematic project and mainly build up a favorable environment for children and focus more on values education. After that, we can improve our moral education and bring up new generation with high creative ability.
