A Study On Moral Education Function Of Campus-Culture In University

In recent years, campus-culture has attracted more and more attention since it becomes an important approach of moral education in universities. Campus-culture grows and develops in the educational environment of schools. It exerts a subtle influence on education as a kind of recessive course, including the tenet and purpose of running a school, view on value, the activities of students league, historical tradition, symbolical building, overall arrangement of the circumstances, and so on. It can be divided into spirit culture, system culture and substance culture. It plays a edifying, encouraging and directing role in the formation of students'world view, the establishment of their belief, the contribution of their ideality, the molding of their personality, etc. Generally speaking, campus-culture possesses the moral function of directing the view of value, ruling actions, edifying moral character, keeping and creatingIn this thesis, the problems mentioned above are analyzed in details through the statistic analysis on the questionnaires of the teachers and students from Zi Bo Teachers College, Shan Dong University of Technology and Shan Dong University. First, the necessity of the moral function of the campus-culture in university is put forward from the following aspects: expatiating the definition and signification of campus-culture; analyzing the relationship between culture and moral education; discussing the moral function of the campus-culture in developed countries. Based on these discussion and practical investigation, we raised many corresponding suggestions : persisting in the dominant position to deal with the relationship between main rhythm and diversification ,developing and cultivating the national spirit; persisting in the humanity to foster the human-center systemized, advancing the students all-round development; persisting in the creativity to form the mechanism of campus-culture activity suitable for cultivating students'creative spirit; persisting in the technicality to construct the cultural atmosphere of advocating science; persisting in practice to make students educated, develop their ability and contribute for the society; persisting in advancing to strengthen the construction of network-culture, inaugurating the position of network-culture.The construction of the campus-culture in university should follow the direction of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the"three representatives", insisting on the developing direction of the socialistic advanced culture, absorbing the beneficial achievement of the civilization of human being.
