It is well known that the most essential factor of educational reform is the teachers' quality and the quality of teaching. A boring text may be explained vividly by a good teacher with various methods, while an interesting text may turn out to be boring by a teacher with inappropriate methods. Human is the core of education and the teacher is the key factor regarding the success or the failure, so many nations lay emphasis on the teacher education . Especially influenced by lifelong education and the teacher professional development of last century, lots of countries start reinforce research on the beginning teacher induction programs in order to support the beginning teacher professional development. Our nation has the biggest number of teachers in the world and there are lots of new people who enter educational career every year. It is very significant for improving our teacher and education's quality in order to help these new teachers adapt the new surroundings as quickly as possible and let them love education for ever. So we must strengthen studying on the beginning teacher's induction. The induction is the bridge between the normal education and on-the-job training , linking them together and being able to help the beginning teacher's professional development.The participants of this research are beginning teachers of the middle school in BoZhou city. Based on relevant theories about education, psychology and the research resulting from the education developed nations' induction programs ,such as America, England and Japan, I studied the beginning teacher's induction programs at the local middle school and interviewed with the local tutors, school leaders and the training leaders; Then arranged and analyzed the research results ; Finally I put forward some proposals so as to promote the development of teaching profession.The thesis is divided into five parts:Part 1: introduce the background , foundation and significance of the beginning teacher's induction ,explain some key wordsPart 2: introduce the research method ,explain the planning and the research processPart 3: introduce mainly the beginning teacher's induction systems in America, England and Japan and our nation's , then analysis and evaluate them.Part 4: analysis and summarize the local beginning teachers' work condition , the necessity of induction, the tutors' mentor condition and the local beginning teacher's induction conditionPart 5: put forward five parts about the proposals : some concrete measures promoting beginning teacher's induction, strengthen the continuance and stage about the beginning teacher's professional development , reinforce the beginning teacher's self-development, develop the mentors' potentiality and strengthen the cooperation and coordination with universities, training organizations and middle schools...
