All the theories and practices of human society originate from humanity and ultimately serve the existence and development of human. As the special social practical activity of human, education should also be the production of humanity and have to show humanistic concern for human so that a man is made more like a man not a thing or a tool. In order to provide humanistic education, we have to develop a series of humanistic curriculum.At present, curriculum reforms are undergoing all over the world, which pushes forward the development of curriculum theory and practice. Under the new condition of building up more humanity-oriented and harmonious society, the School-based Curriculum Development(SBCD), which is one of the important parts of curriculum theory and practice, is a key project worthy of deep researching. Integrated with philosophy, pedagogy and theory of curriculum, this thesis will make a theoretical expatiation by the means of philological method and theoretical-analysis method. The innovation of this research is to study the SBCD and its relevant problems based on humanity theoryThe state-based curriculum development is in an overwhelming position in our country while school-based curriculum development is still in its early stage. So it is our hard and urgent task to study the theory of the SCBD, so as to turn the SBCD into an important supplement to the state-based curriculum development;to have the curricula, which are difficult to be given attention by the state-based curriculum development, under consideration;to characterize the process of the SBCD withfurther participation, pertinency, flexibility and diversity;to fully understand the essential of school-based curriculum;to realize the educational value of school-based curriculum;to push forward the theoretical research of the SBCD.The reform of primary education curriculum has set up a higher demand on the SBCD of our country. It requires that the SBCD should take this turn of curriculum reform under its realistic concerning, build up a system of the SBCD with characteristics of this age and supply the current reform of primary education with theoretical support.To realize humanity-oriented education, it is necessary to develop a series of humanistic curriculum and the SBCD has such advantages. The SBCD shows its humanity concern during the process of curriculum development, colligating the other curriculum resources, taking for reference the experience of curriculum development of foreign counties, paying much attention to humanity and life. The SBCD requires that everyone who participates should have the idea of showing humanity concern, connecting science with humanity and returning to nature of human lives. He who participates should master the principles of the curriculum development so that school-based curricula suitable for the basic humanity are developed. And ultimately, Teachers (especially their specialty) are developed;students(especially their personality) are cultivated and the feature of a school is formed.
