P.E. teachers have the task to teach in the school physical education, school sports teams and extra-curricular sports activities, with the aim of cultivating a healthy strong body and emotion etc. irrational factors to develop together for the students.P.E. teacher's teaching behavior is reasonable fundamental guarantees to complete the task. On the contrary, the teaching irrational behavior affects their own emotion and more serious affects the physical and mental health of students. To the seriousness and the importance of the problem the paper has research on the middle school P.E. teachers in Taiyuan city. The research objects are the part of P.E. teachers and students in 30 middle schools of Taiyuan city. The following are the conclusions through the method of questionnaire investigation, expert interview and logical statistic.(1) P.E. teachers used the normal teaching methods in Taiyuan city but some P.E. teachers used irrational behavior in the process of teaching. The survey shows 1/4 P.E. teachers used the corporal punishment, verbal stimulation in the teaching process. Another 35% of the students had experienced corporal punishment by P.E. teachers. So the data shows the using situation of P.E teacher's teaching irrational behavior is more widespread.(2) P.E. teachers uncontrolled emotional is a kind of expression of irrational behavior. The cause may be come from outside of the classroom. The research results suggest that 10% of P.E. teachers often have unstable emotional state and angry but not causes in Taiyuan city. The situation is a cause for concern. Most P.E. teachers can be better control negative emotional impact on the teaching from outside of the classroom. But once the emotions get out of control 40% of the teachers tend to be bad emotion and let off to the students.(3) The influence of school P.E. teacher's irrational behavior in Taiyuancity has negative impact to the students according to difference degree of irrational behavior and the individual differences of students, so that they have a fear feeling to RE. teachers and effect them study achievement. With the influence time and extent, most students affected by irrational behavior will be subject to temporary negative psychological impact, but the influence scope is limited to school life, a small number of students will affect their daily lives and long-term learning.(4) The coping strategies of the students to RE. teacher's irrational behavior show disparities, both rational and non-rational. The students tend to solve their own problems and to seek outside help awareness is not very clear.(5) On the influence factors of RE. teacher's irrational behavior, the main influence factors are the attention degree of school to the teachers teaching behavior, the responsibility of RE. teacher's irrational behavior and the democracy of sports classroom management style in Taiyuan city.
