Based on the trend of foreign teaching innovation and in the practice of English teaching design, teachers emphasize subject instruction instead of affective education; integrated instructional procedures instead of life development; operation of cognitive system instead of affective system; time instead of space of development. Relying on flow theory, Martin's affective objects, affective filtering theory and constructivism, the study made an exploring research on the operating model of Affective Approach to Teaching. The operational process of Affective Approach to Teaching includes five stages, ranging from situated life, from the situated life to affection, from affection to individual feeling, from individual feeling to integrated feeling; from integrated feeling to affection transferring. Taking the Affective Approach to Teaching as independent variable and students' interests in English learning, confidence in English learning cooperative awareness in English learning, cultural awareness in English learning and academic achievements in English learning as depend variables, the study gets the results as follows:1. Affective Approach to Teaching design stimulates apparent, temporary learning through instructional forms and provokes deep, permanent learning interests, which brings great benefits to students' learning interests.2.Harmonious teacher-student relationship and students' awareness as subject enhance the cooperative awareness of Affective Approach to Teaching design.
