During the shunting from planned economy to market economy in China, the remarkable character is that the range of higher education becomes larger and larger, and that the scale of undergraduate also becomes larger. At present, undergraduate has become the most active and important part in the development of economy in China, and makes important roles in developing Chinese economy and building harmonious society in China.The theme of this thesis is to study the education of honesty and credit in colleges and universities in China, and to discuss the major aspects of undergraduate's lack of honesty and credit and the basic reasons at present, then to offer a direct theory for the education of honesty and credit in colleges and universities in China, and to put forward the main ways about the education of honesty and credit in colleges and universities. So this thesis makes some efforts in follow aspects:First, this thesis analyses the undergraduate's lack of honesty and credit in modern China. It includes that it's extremely common to cheat in examinations, that the number of those who do not want to pay tuition grows year by year, that it is prominent that undergraduate break contracts in the country's loan to help needy undergraduate, that it is also common that graduates make false materials when they recommend themselves, and that the rate of breaking contracts is high etc.
