Researches On Instruction And Learning Environments Of Information And Communication Technology In Primary School

This research puts forward the thought of creating a learning environment of the instruction of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) in primary school, mainly aims at the actuality of lacking attention on students' information literacy, and students still "learn from media and technology , not learn with media and technology" in the class of ICT. Also this research suggests that a good learning environment should be a learner centered, knowledge-centered, assessment-centered, and community-centered environment.This thesis puts forward the thought of using Virtual Learning Environments(VLEs) to design the learning environment of the curriculum of ICT. And it can be created from the dimensionalities of knowledge and sentiment. From the aspect of knowledge based environment, we have discussed the design of learning contents and the choosing of learning theme, collaborative learning and interaction, reflection and evaluation. From the aspect of sentiment based environment, we have discussed that using the interaction and collaboration to create learning atmosphere, improving the construction of class culture and the feedbacks. For doing these, we aims at providing a learning plat by VLEs for the students, constructing an atmosphere of learning, and more, forming a Virtual Learning Community(VLC) for students' co-learning.The PRIME Learning-supported System is used in the experiment of designing the learning environment which is based on VLEs.
