Thanks to the differences among the psychological quality, environment, educational effect and their efforts, specialities and distinctions appear in the students of the ages during the different periods. The students in the same class have all kinds of learning habits, behavior and interest, and meanwhile show their different demands and abilities in their study. The Subject-Reform Program for the Primary Education clearly notes:'In the teaching process, teachers are supposed to respect students' personalities, pay close attention to their individual differences, meet the students' demands, create the educational surroundings which make them participate actively, fire students with learning enthusiasm and develop their abilities to master and use knowledge.'In recent years,the information technology taking computer network as the centre is developed rapidly,and permeate through each field in life.The computer network has combined with teaching idea now and offered wider development space for education,and have offered the new stage for the lifetime study and sustainable development,and have offered the opportunity for the differentiated instruction. Under the traditional classroom environment,the development of the differentiated instruction has very great difficulty,so combine differentiated instruction with computer network,creating a kind of new study mode.It has become a hot question which the domain scholar of the distance education nowadays.In addition,an important result of the informationalization of education--virtual learning community,has caused the great disturbance and it is a focus in the field of education.For this reason,this article take the method of documents research.Consult a lot of new documents about the differentiated instruction and the virtual learning community,then,summarize the meaning of differentiated instruction and the virtual learning community,and put forward the strategy about structuring a virtual learning community which based on the differentiated instruction for middle school student:1. Testing of the difference and dynamical positioning management in the community.2. Individualized Learning and Collaborative Learning by the community.3. Comprehensive Evaluation .
