For a long period, the main target of science education in our country is induction of scientific knowledge, adding to the competition of entering higher school, the teacher relatively pays attention to how to teach the knowledge more availably. Some western educators have noticed the abundant of science knowledge and the humanities of science education early, so they think "science is not only a heap of knowledge that needed to be studied, but also a kind of process for study or methods", "each person should have the opportunity to grasp a lot of possibilities of the feeling and egos of the excitement because of comprehend and explore the business reason of the nature."The BP Technology Challenge in New Zealand is one of the concrete activities based on the scientific education principle, and teacher can use it in the classroom or outside. Annually over 250,000 primary and junior high school students in New Zealand attend in this kind of activity, with the form of personality or team. From this kind of challenge they open the knowledge visual field widely, develop their technical abilities, and lay the foundation to study science technology systematically, the most important thing is the development that contributes to the emotion attitude value. According to the actuality that our science contest mostly limits at a test of paper, we feel that the BP Technology Challenge is could and should be helpful to our education, therefore, we chose to carry on the research to the BP Technology Challenge, and hope to provide reference and some data that can draw lessons with reform, thus attain excellent turn the purpose of the our country scientific education.Through the research of the topic choosing, design principle and the actual applied research of The BP Technology Challenge File, the researcher designed a series technology challenges related to chemistry, verified their possibility in the first step, and improved them according the education principle, design principle and evaluation standard of the BP Technology Challenge. Through our research, we discovered mat it was possible to design technology challenge of our own. At last we found technology challenge is meaningful to stir up the student's interest in the study, experience personally the magic power of science investigation, and develop these aspects of the person of the overall developments.
