School education should not only cultivate the students'intelligence but also train them to use their non-intelligence. Character plays an important role in the non-intelligence education. Good characters can help with the students'initiative and creativeness, self-control, strong-will and friendly and harmonious relationships with other people. They can be a main cause to success. Based on the theories on character and with the help of morality classes, this paper contains the following three parts: the first part analyzes the content, constituting factors, characteristics and research results of characters in domestic and overseas fields; The second part analyzes concretely the present weak condition of character education in middle schools, and the necessity and possibility of enhancing character education; The third part analyzes measures of enhancing students'characters in character classes, including primarily: 1. use basic methods of strengthening the will power and personality in the classroom; 2. set up models, implement ideal education, and introduce the positive ideas for students to study; 3. encourage the student to overcome difficulties, to be tough and resilient; 4. train students according to their different willpowers and personalities; 5. demand the students to train their willpowers and characters, and let them know the method of exercise by themselves.
