China Ministry of Education declared the English level of the senior students should be reached 8-9degrees, the highest of the levels. And the general teaching goal is to develop the learner's integrating skills, including language skills, language knowledge, emotions and attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness, which shows the skills of language use and cultural awareness are two main points in Senior English teaching, learning and testing, which are related to communicative competence (CC) closely.About testing, two aspects should be considered: test method and test purpose, according to the former, there are two kinds: "Objective test" in the form of the familiar examination question paper or "Subject Test" in the form of receptive understanding; According to the purpose, there are "Achievement "and "proficiency" tests. And in NMET for English, MC is a main kind of testing type of "objective" test, with "achievement" purpose, which can also be used with other forms of testing. Of course, it has its own advantages and disadvantages, but anyway the good dominates. Especially in the present education, MENT is burdened with two tasks: selecting the good students and testing the students' intergrading skills in language use with its wide topics and abundant information. As Li Xiaoju says although it has some shortcomings, but it is still the most reliable question type by now, it will be used for a very long time for L2 testing, especially for Senior English.(Li Xiaoju.2001:127)Belonging to MC, the Situational MC has the features of MC, with own advantages with the changes of the language theories. Because it can be used effectively with "context" or" context of situation" to the intergrading skills, especially the communicative competence, it naturally becomes a good question type worth paying much attention to, going with the Senior Testing Syllabus and testing practice. And there are two basic forms of it, one is in the form of "dialogue", the other is in the form of "non-dialogue". But whichever form it is, a clear context can both be shown in it.Then, context becomes the key to the Situational MC, while contextualization is the necessary process to reason the best or right answer. On context, generally, there are two kinds: language context and non-language context. But according to the variation in linguistic view, there are three: the linguistic context, the situational context and the psycholinguistic context. And J. Harmer stated context contains five factors: setting, participants, purpose, channel and topic, while other scholars divide it into three: the discourse, the environment and settings of the speech act communication and the common knowledge. And in the Situational MC, the right semantic expression needs the three levels in the context frame: the logic plane, the psychology plane and the background plane, which undoubtedly shows context is dynamic, and there are two main factors in successful contextualization: culture awareness...
