Motivating Middle Mchool Students' BackgroudkKnowledge To Improve Their Listening Ability

China's entry to WTO (World Trade Organization ) requires more qualified teaching stuffs. The world of English Language education began to focus on training the skills of learning English, especially the speaking skill. It's right! At the same time we'd better strong the training of listening skill not weak it. We must pay more attention on the middle school students' listening skill. Not only on the its importance, but also on its the basic theories and the practical listening strategies.The ability of listening is an ability that is made up of a complex set of variations. If we only depend on playing or listening to the tape, we won't develop the level of the listening. It relates to the sound, phoneme, rhythm, words, sentence structures, language meanings, language usages and so on. The mainly characteristic is that it works through the hearing immediately not seeing, which learning languages by seeing, and also different from the reading, which you can learn languages by thinking for many times. If you can't master the languages you can't understand the contents. Therefore you need to do well in languages. If the learner is weak in any part of the language learning, he will have more troubles in listening skill than others.Being an English teacher of a new middle school, I introduce the schema in the English listening classes for better the listening teaching modes. It will be practical for improve English listening ability.
