Senior Mathematics Vector Teaching Research

The new-round mathematics curriculum reform, from the ideas, contents and implementations, has been changed greatly. Among them, "the vector mathematics"-which developed and applied at the turn of the 19^th century to the 20^th, with its wide application in modern mathematics. Physics, Engineering and spatial matter structure, has been noticed greatly.In many countries, vector as a basic course content, has already been included in the mathematics course for middle school students. However, in our country as it just has been applied in the middle school mathematics curriculum, the study of vector is still in its start stage. The vector is one of the most basic concepts in modern mathematics, it has a "dual status"-"Algebra form" and "geometry form". It is a bridge to link up the contents of Geometry, Algebra and Trigonometry.It is necessary to bring vector into middle school mathematics course. However, how a teacher advances his vector teaching under a new education idea is what I want to go further in this paper attentively. During the research, the write uses documental method, and describes the relative data, and also uses investigation method to survey the questions about the vector in the middle school teaching. Which is not as easy as the teachers imagine, students don't have the habit of dealing with the question with vector and they have to improve their study method. To solve these problems, I fully use modern educational concepts in teaching practice. I give many suggestions on how to advance vector teaching in this paper. We should strengthen vector concepts the basic knowledge and operation in teaching, do research on the vector of the geometry backgrounds. Pay attention to the applying and bring the initiative of vector skills, with this teaching method, we should strengthen the relations between vector and its application, attach the importance to infiltrate mathematics ideas and methods into it, improve students' thinking ability, declare the research study of vector to develop the students' creativity.
