A Study On The Standards For Designing And Assessing M-learning Contents

1M-learning is the production by combining information technology and education. It is a new type of long-distance education. With its own advantages, m-learning has released people from the limits of the time and space of study. It has extremely enhanced the efficiency of learning and satisfied the needs of all-life study.With the booming development of mobile technology and wireless network, the application of m-learning has become wider and wider. But, the problems, just like poor contents, lacking of learning resources and so on, have made its steps slow down. Enve has powerful technological support, perfect envorinment and good prospects for development, without high quality contents, m-learning market is hardly format and learners cannot benefit from it. The standardization is of gread significance to the development of m-learning industry, and is the most important issue that needs to be addressed.So, the focus of this paper is studying on the standards for designing and evaluating m-learning contents. Through a lot of investigation, comparison and analysis, this paper originally proposes a principle system for designing m-learning contents which makes the requirements become specific indicators. On this basis, the paper presents a standard, systematic and operable assessment standard for m-learning contents for the first time, and demonstrates the use of the criteria by assessing an m-learning courseware. This paper's study can not only act as a reference frame for mobile content designers and m-learning operators, but also can be of great significance to the promotion of the standardization of m-learning contents.
