Study On Assessing Index Standard System Of Ranked Basketball Judges In Colleges Of Sports Of Jilin Province

The main content of basketball sports is the activity of athlets and coaches, but as an indispensable consisting part of contest, the judging and punishing activities of judges exert great influence on contest. Therefore, doing well the job of selecting, educating, assessing and evaluating of judges matters not only the quality of the team but also the future of basketball sports in China. In the administration of basketball judges of China, although a set of clear ranking administrative system has been formed, we still fall short of a set of comprehensive, uniform and scientific standard systemm, especially in the aspect of assessing content, standard and form. The purporse of study of this paper is to frame a set of scientifc assessing index system of ranked judges to provide beneficial reference foundation for effectively and accurately appraising the ranks of judges through investigation and research.The history of the system of dividing basketball judges according to ranks, and administering, assessing and examing and approving of basketball judges has existed for about fifty years. During this period, a large number of basketball judges of different ranks are cultivated who play a role that can not be neglected for lifting the level of basketball athletic sports of China in every stage and promoting the massive basketball activities. The establishment and implementation of judge ranking system also plays a great role in motivating and helping basketball judges to continuously enhance their political quality and specialty levels. To cultivate an excellent basketball judge is a long-term and systematic job which demands long-term effort. However, in the current period of China, in the training and assessing job of basketball judges of different ranks, the traning and assessing job of judges over national level is basically systemicized but the training of judges below the national level in some areas has not formed a systematic and complete system, which is not good for the discovering and cultivating of back-up basketball judges. This papers stuties and sets down a assessing index system of basketball judges that can be applied to different ranks of basketball judges. It includes many second-level indexes and surbodinating thrid-level indexes. It studies and establishes assessing standard system of basketball judges from different ranks, conducts quantitative treatment to each standard system and sets up correspondent quantitative marking table. Through actual assessing tests, this system gains priliminary application effect.
