The girls today will be women employees and mothers tomorrow. They are not only the future builders of our country, but also the hope of our nation and ethnic Chinese. The education for the girls is of great importance in the development of their abilities for the need of society, and that of their own as well, also in the development of harmonious socialist society in China.In the introduction of the thesis, firstly, the author gives reasons for the option of the topic and illustration of the methodology used in the paper. Since in the new era, we Chinese are in the development of well-to-do and harmonious socialist society nationwide. It has a practical significance to reinforce the education for girls in their lives and growth, in the social and economical sustained development, in the social population enlargement, and mainly in the development of harmonious socialist society together with their social adaptation. Secondly, in this part the researcher analyzes that, in the present stage, the education for girls in our country is not a national issue but a regional one. The backwardness of the education for girls in less developed areas would have an important effect upon the compulsory education. The study on the education for girls in minority areas has a profound significance. Thirdly, in the first part of the article the scholar gives an introduction of the education concept. By literature method, on the basis of much data analysis, the researcher points out that the education for girls in China has four peculiarities. First, it starts early but with no solid foundation; second, it develops rapidly but with no balance; third, its protracted and arduous nature ; four, its nationality and developing nature.In the second part of the paper, the author makes an empirical study of the compulsory education for girls in the Maonan nationality region. By the help of questionnaire and interview, the young scholar makes an investigation in the county. With the SPSS statistical program, he analyzed the statistical data, and finding out that some problems in school enrollment, learning process and education results during the compulsory education for the little girls in the region inhabited by Maonan nationality in Guangxi .The researcher also found that, the financial factors having an influence on the girls' education, but they would never be the chief ones.
