The writing skill plays an very important role in the degrees of the language cultivated manners of senior students , so how to improve the students' writing skill becomes an important research in the language teaching .Among lots of methods of writing teaching , "the combination of reading and writing " gets more extensive crowd's foundation. The essay is to take this as the trigger, combining with students' actual level of writing, to regard mimicry as the bridge between reading and writing, so as to develop students' creative ability of writing gradually by the means of mimicry.The research goes on around to two topics : First , establish an important position for mimicry during the writing teaching and think of mimicry as a shortcut for the prime of the composition writing and mimicry occupy an important position regardless in the course of the traditional writing teaching or the modern writing teaching. Second, analyse the foundation of the imitative pedagogy and psychology, as well as the present optimistic condition that the students don't do well in composition writing at the moment. The above conditions request the teachers to begin with students' writing psychology, combining with the foundation of moving theory and assimilating theory in a specific way, to teach according to students' present writing ability and at the same time overcome the students' anxiety of the mental state. According to the above theories, The essay analyse the four stages of mimicry in the the composition writing:First, the premise of the mimicry is to gain knowledge combination by reading. Second,the key to mimicry is to foster students' ability to observation, thinking and imagination, promoting the conversion from knowledge to ability. Third, the means of the mimicry is to adopt numerous ways to train students' writing ability so as to fulfil the object of establishing students' perfect writing skills. Fourth, the main purpose of the mimicry lies in the innovation of students,especially the example given in the essay that how senior students make diversity innovations by mimicry and at last how to develop the students' personality and creativity in composition writing.The specifics of the research is proving the aim, possibility and realistic meanings of the mimicry—the key method of training students' composition writing, by giving detail example in which senior three students manage to write excellent compositions during the entrance examination by means of successful mimicry , meanwhile the discussion give us the adequate evidence that mimicry plays an important part in fostering students' ability to be creative in composition writing.
