The cultivation of innovation is an important direction of education and teaching reform.How to effectively improve students' innovation ability has become a key problem in educational research.Based on the design thinking process model proposed by Stanford University,this paper redesigns the teaching method and applies it to the information technology course of middle school.This paper explores the influence of design thinking teaching method on students' innovation ability and how design thinking teaching method is used in information technology classroom.Finally,the teaching effect of design thinking method is verified and analyzed by quasi-experimental research.design thinking is considered an innovative approach in this study characterized by the use of methods and tools from the design discipline.In this study,four classes of grade two in a middle school in Nanjing were used as the research object,and animation design and production were the main teaching contents.The experimental group adopted the teaching method based on design thinking,and the control group followed the previous teaching method.The purpose is to compare the effect of design thinking based teaching method on cultivating students' innovative ability.Specific work has been carried out in the following areas:1.The relationship between teaching methods based on design thinking and students' innovation ability,and the concrete expression of their influence on students' innovation ability.2.The reasons why the teaching method based on design thinking has an impact on students' innovation ability.3.The innovative influence of design thinking-based teaching methods on students' innovative self-confidence and creative multimedia works and the reasons for this influence.4.The relationship between students' self-confidence and ability to innovate.5.The impact of task complexity on students' creative self-confidence,creative multimedia works and the reasons for the impact.Through experimental design,experimental implementation and data analysis and discussion,the following conclusions are finally obtained:1.The teaching method based on design thinking has a positive influence on the innovation ability of middle school students.2.Teaching methods based on design thinking can effectively promote the innovation of multimedia works produced by students.3.The teaching method based on design thinking has a positive influence on the innovation self-confidence of middle school students.There is a positive correlation between innovation self-confidence and innovation ability.4.Task complexity has no obvious influence on students' innovation ability,self-confidence and innovation of multimedia works.
