Reflective learning is a way of learning through reflections on the learning process. It aims to make the the learning process more reasonable and promote students' development. Training students' reflective learning ability, which is demanded by the basic educational reform, can help students learn how to learn and make innovation, and improve their scientific literacy.Solid geometry is difficult for middle school students to learn. In particular, it is difficult for them to figure out the graph, to understand concepts, to use theorems and to solve problems. This paper reports an action research on the training of student's reflective learning ability in solid geometry. It is revealed that teaching of figures, concepts, theorems and problem solving is the important routine to train students' reflective learning ability and that training of students' reflective learning ability can help students overcome the aforesaid four "difficulties".This research also provides references for teaching of solid geometry and other mathematics branches and for training of students' reflective learning ability.
