Research On The Situation And The Countermeasure Of Development Of The Soft Volleyball In Zhengzhou Middle School

With the elementary education reform deepening, the middle school sports curriculum reforms have been thought much of by the educational circles and some departments concerned. As a newly emerging sports project, soft volleyball is very popular with young people by its quality of soft material, slow speed, less difficulty, few injuries, more interest, more recreation, being good for both the old and the young and great bodybuilding value. Soft volleyball sports can accord with the educational reform direction ---giving health first priority, focusing on the students, and everyone taking parting in--- and meet the requirements of all sectors of society and all social organizations to carry out the popular mass competitive sports. It has been the major content and means of school quality-oriented education and nationwide physical fitness campaign.Soft volleyball is the limited elective course according to the middle and primary school Sports and Health syllabus proclaimed by the National Ministry of Education. The new syllabus has embodied school educational guiding principle, which is health first and human-orientation. New Sports And Health Teaching Syllabus explicitly pointed out that, "The school sports and the health teaching should take health first as the guiding principle to enable the students'body and mind to obtain the harmonious development." Therefore, in the November of 2000 the National Ministry of Education has officially put the soft volleyball on the Sports And Health Teaching Syllabus of the elementary and middle schools nine-year compulsory education, (1)strive for the entrance of the soft volleyball to campus and community and then form the scale. It is good news for the Chinese volleyball circle at a low ebb to put the soft volleyball on the new version of syllabus. So the population playing volleyball will increase rapidly. In1999 the Chinese volleyball administrative center established the soft volleyball promotion leading group timely, hoping to grasp from the baby, solidly completing the volleyball in child's popularization work to establish a firm basis for the future Chinese volleyball. As the provincial capital, the executive situation in Zhengzhou with favorable timing, geographical and human conditions is the author's goal to study at. By the questionnaire survey, scientific research, mathematical statistics, logical analytic method, etc., this paper has mainly conducted the comprehensive investigation and study to the Zhengzhou 68 junior middle schools about soft volleyball movement teaching development situation. The research result indicates that the development of soft volleyball situation in Zhengzhou middle school is certainly inconsistent, for example, distinction on location equipment, teaching, extra-curricular training and competition. Some school location equipment cannot meet the requirement of teaching; especially in recent years, there are only few large-scale soft volleyball competitions in Zhengzhou middle schools; the professional volleyball teachers are not enough and their training is not so much; to the degree of the favorite by students, there are more girls than boys; In the student extracurricular activity, the active is short, generally less than 30 minutes and the operating location basically is the school open area, the form of action is the activity with pairs of students. Setting and situation of taking part in the competition of the amateur soft volleyball game in Zhengzhou middle school are not ideal, the competition of organizing more adopts the rules of hard volleyball, the form of competition regards four people as the principle, the large and influential soft volleyball competition is also less. The primary factors that influence the development of soft volleyball in Zhengzhou middle school are the policy, degree of leaders'attention, location equipment, teachers, students' interest, the test system, the competition and so on. The author analyzes the causes of the insufficient development of soft volleyball overall condition and proposed the countermeasure: strengthen the construction of the professional teachers; develop the soft volleyball teaching in a all-round way; enhance the school administrators'attention; carry out various soft volleyball competitions frequently and so on.
