| Abstract: In the August of 2002, Educational department published the physical course teaching standard of university and college. It said'It's a important way to suit measures to local conditions and develop and make use of the kinds of course resources. At present domestic mainly was carried on the aspect of positive exploration and use to the curriculum resources. Xinjiang areas'research is mainly manifested to develop the Xinjiang minority national tradition sports project and so on. But the analysis of the combination of physical education'theory and practice is relatively fewer. This kind of research is useful for the exploring of physical education resources and the development of xinjiang physical education course. This paper has a survey of the current situation of Xinijang ordinary universities and got the following conclusions:1. The Xinjiang ordinary universities reforming in the sports curriculum have the many kinds of guiding ideology, explaining that the current universities sports curriculum guides ideology assumed the multiplex tendency2. At present, in the university's sports teaching of Xinjiang, some 32.56% teacher's direct application sports teaching material, and approximately 33.73% teachers carry on the deep processing to the partial teaching materials, this reflected the degree of using gym sports teaching materials was lower.3. The collated and corrected copy curriculum constructed in various universities of Xinjiang has obtained the encouraging result, and the collated and corrected copy curriculum are proper to various universities' actual situation, but in the development of exploring collated and corrected copy curriculum, various universities generally have the difficulties of insufficient fund and the lack of correspondent system and theory support.4. At present, the network information resource already became the main channel of sports information knowledge resources, therefore, the sports network information resource's development use should bring more attention.5. The degree of Xinjiang ordinary university's sports teacher's topic research is lower. The scientific research achievement quality is not high, besides the level of the paper published is low. He school lacks the policy and fund to support the scientific research.6. In each kind of education experience, the university sports educates to the current universities gym instructor's influence biggest, but the accepting of the graduate student education is insufficient. Especially the nationality gym instructor is in particular more obvious7. Xinjiang ordinary universities gym instructor's age structures by Chinese youth primarily, Chinese teacher s and nationality teachers'proportion is relatively reasonable, it and it can meet the teaching need, large has, the abundant degree teacher proportion is lower. Teachers with the doctor or mater degree are fewer. Various universities professor, associate professor are relative few. The teaching assistants are relatively more. The title structure is unreasonable8. Because the present Xinjiang various universities gym instructor is short, therefore when introducing teacher's type, the teaching ability should be first. The construction of the sports field of Xinjiang ordinary universities has got certain effect.9The average occupation of lands for university students has reached the standard of education department's request, but the using efficiency is not high, reflecting the exploring of physical education's material falls behind the development of university's development.
