The Study On Missionary School For Girls In Modern China

After Opium War, western countries broke the door of China with great forces, and forced China sign a serial of unequal treaties. By these treaties, they got priorities on running schools in China, then the missionary school appeared. Missionary school for girls was one important part in missionary school. In essence, missionary school for girls was an educational institution, which was established on the background of semi-colonial society for Western countries' spreading of Christianity.
