English teaching is a process of the language teaching as well as a process of communicating feelings. The emotion education is an important aspect and core content that the modern school education for all- round development can't neglect. put forward: "……to make the language learning process becomes the one of the students'developing an active emotion attitude…..to stir up and develop the students'interest in learning English so as to set up the students'self- confidence." The learners'affective attitude directly results in their learning actions and outcome. The emotion factors have the position of equal importance with intelligence factors in the study activity. However, the current countryside English teaching seriously neglects affective factors and the relation between the emotion and cognition, which greatly contributed to raising the language study result. Aiming at the English teaching of countryside middle school, the right confidence emotion education contributes to raising language study result.Based on the related theory of affect in language learning associated with the reality of the countryside English teaching, this thesis is to study the value of emotion itself function in the English teaching and to probe how the related emotion factors influence on the village student in English study in order to investigate how to develop village student positive, healthy emotion in the teaching and carry out an emotion English education completely, raise English teaching result.The thesis consists of altogether five chapters. The study adopts questionnaire, interview and experiment as research method. The purpose is to investigate the students affective state and its influence on countryside middle school English teaching and learning. It also aims to seek for the appropriate affect teaching and learning methods to achieve good language learning result.According to the analysis, it is revealed that countryside students'English learning was greatly influenced by their affective state and it is a matter of great urgency to solve the affective problems associated with English learning and teaching.The thesis points out that it is important that we strengthen to communicate with the student's emotion and improve the teaching models in order to solve the students' affective problems and develop the students' positive, healthy emotion and raise the language study result, for example, setting up good relation between teacher and pupil, creating a harmonious classroom teaching atmosphere, the adopting student-centered communicative way of language teaching and fostering student's cooperate learning, encouraging a student brave speech, letting the student experience personally success, helping a student to overcome emotion obstacles, training a student self-confidence, removing some negative emotion factors such as: "Worry anxiously", "inhibition" etc.
