The mathematics teacher's specialization is a requirement for development of era and the course reform of a new round of mathematics, it is one of the important contents which the teacher educates. The improvement of mathematics teacher's professional knowledge level is one of the teacher's specialized important tasks of mathematics, it is the important prerequisite that the mathematics teacher pursues being outstanding.The mathematics teacher's professional knowledge includes: Discipline knowledge (Mathematics knowledge of middle school, knowledge of higher mathematics, history knowledge of mathematics), knowledge of education theory (pedagogy, psychology, teaching method knowledge), science and culture rudimentary knowledge except mathematics, knowledge about students and their the characteristic('s interest in learning, learning the psychology of learning difficulties),etc.. The comparative study to teacher's professional knowledge of mathematics: 1.Can improve the teacher's quality, give full play to the teacher's leading role; 2.Offer reference for cultivation of the mathematics teacher junior middle school; 3.Facilitate developing the theory that the teacher of our country educates.Studies have suggested that there exists the following difference between the ordinary mathematics teacher and excellent mathematics teacher in the professional knowledge : 1.In relevant knowledge, ordinary teacher is not as abundant as excellent teacher; 2.The understanding of teaching result, it is not so deep and overall as the ordinary teacher that excellent teacher knows the intensity equally; 3.The excellent and ordinary teacher's pedagogy and psychology knowledge are all poor; 4.Subject knowledge in mathematics, excellent teachers are more abundant than ordinary teachers, especially in middle school mathematics content; In history knowledge of mathematics, excellent teachers have more knowledge to understand the history of mathematics than ordinary teachers 5.Excellent teachers grasp better than the ordinary teacher in the students interested in the psychological study, in difficulties of study.In light of the research results, to enhance the professional knowledge of math teachers, professional development for teachers, made the following recommendations :1.Do the pre-service education, training in front of the sentry of the mathematics teacher well; 2.Do a good job of on-the-job training of the mathematics teacher; 3.Encourage teacher to participate in education and scientific research practice work, establish the foundation for pursuing being outstanding.
