So it is essential to reserch thecharacteristic of passing ball.Based on "the routine technical statistics" and the suggestions of soccer expertscholar as the reference,the thesis sets the statistical standard.Taking the world cup in2006 as the research object,and using the methods of document-data,expertinterview,logic,observation,and mathematical-statistics,the thesis observes and analyzesthe application of passing ball technique,and finds out the characteristics and law of theapplication of passing ball technique,so as to offer the evidences for teaching and theimprovement of scientific training in the future.The research results are:1 The number of the short distance passing ball is the most, second is the middledistance passing ball,the least is the long distance passing ball.The success rate ofpassing ball improve sequentially from the long distance passing ball to the shortdistance passing ball.2 The number of passing ball most in midfields,second in backcourt,and the least infore court. The success rate of passing ball most in backcourts,second in midfield, andthe least in fore court.3 The number and success rate of passing ball can affect the competition result.4 The number and success rate of the short distance passing ball and the middledistance passing ball can affect the competition result.The number and success rate of the long distance passing ball can't affect thecompetition result. 5 In fore court, the number and success rate of passing ball can affect thecompetition result, the number and success rate of the short distance passing ball andthe middle distance passing ball can affect the competition result, the number andsuccess rate of the long distance passing ball can't affect the competition result.
