A Study On The Problems Of Children's Enrollment And The Quality Of Education In The Basic Education In Poor Region Of Guizhou Province

This thesis takes Wei Ning, an autonomous county, as a research object, which has the praise of"ridge of Gui Zhou". Wei Ning, with bad national conditions and weak economic basis, locates in the subnival region of Gui Zhou. It is a state poverty county. So far, it hasn't accomplished the task of"two bases"yet.In the preface part, the thesis has introduced the background of the selected title and feasibility of research, explained the research meaning of this thesis, and introduced research theory and method that the thesis adopting in detail.Data in the first part of thesis received by questionnaire investigation, interview, etc, has introduced the current situation of basic education in Wei Ning county, I have found that the main problems existing in basic education of Wei Ning county are: first, low school enrollment rate of stage student of basic education and high drop-out rate; Second, poor educational quality level.The second part analyzes the reason for the above-mentioned current situations. The reason is mainly as followed: the students'unawareness of the importance of education; the abominable natural environment; backward economic development; the concept lagging behind; inadequate school buildings and lacking in teachers.The third part enumerates the relevant policies issued by the state and GuiZhou Province, which aim at improving the current situation of basic education in backward areas The fourth part tells us the domestic and abroad successful experienceFrom the perspective of the government law and course offered, the fifth part proposes the suggestions for how to increase the school enrollment rate of Wei Ning County. From the angle of the law,course offered and teacher training ,this part offers some advice with regard to how to improve educational quality of Wei Ning County .I do this research, on the basis of educational current situation in Wei Ning County, focusing on the right age children enrollment rate and educational quality problem in basic education, drawing the conclusion on the basis of analysis. I have mainly put forward my own suggestions: such as governmental functions, management of the school, course offered and faculty training, etc. If Wei Ning wants to develop, it must have an initiative spirit, combine the local actual conditions, takes the educational development road suitable for itself.
