The basketball school aims at cultivating basketball talents and its task is to cultivate the interests of basketball, develop basketball skills and find basketball talents. The object of basketball school is the students are studying in primary school and high school and use their spare time training, and to cultivate basketball versatile. The basketball school relaxed the confliction between studying and training. On the one hand, it is in favor of students'healthy growth and fully development, on the other hand, it can cultivate basketball talents, extend basketball people, quicken basketball popularization and development. So it is popular during the students and parents.This article multiply used documents, questionnaires, interview and statistics, deeply studied the status quo of some of basketball school in our country and analyze the current problems so that put forward the countermeasures.At present, the basketball school is multiform, the private is very interest in investing in it, but it is not sweeping. The distributing of basketball school is unbalanced, mainly focused on economy developed and basketball highly popularized cities. The basketball schools adhere to high school have much advantages and strong ability of sustainable development. Though it is influential and has advantages on popularization and cultivating, it has a lot of problems: disordered management distempered inner setup, unscientific draft and outstanding confliction between studying and training. According those problems, the author put forward the countermeasures: strengthen inner management and rules, in draught high quality management talents, improve management and training quality, standardized the coach drafting system, improve the ability of self-development, multiple channels to make money and improve the environments of basketball school.
